Unicorn Café
📍 Bangkok, Bangkok
A gloriously over-the-top pastel fever dream off Silom — rainbow everything, a wall of plush unicorns, sparkly unicorn onesies to borrow, and rainbow spaghetti and candyfloss drinks served under a haze of glitter.
For maximum-sugar, maximum-glitter absurdity, few places on earth compete with the Unicorn Café. Every surface is pastel; shelves heave with plush unicorns; and you’re encouraged to pull on a shiny unicorn onesie before tucking into rainbow-coloured spaghetti, glittery lattes, and candy-bright shakes.
Why It’s Interesting
It is unapologetically, joyfully ridiculous — a kitsch theme café taken to its logical extreme, and a guaranteed hit with kids and the young-at-heart. The food is beside the point; you’re really paying for the most riotously pink photo opportunity in Bangkok.
Getting There
It’s a short walk from Surasak BTS in the Silom/Sathon area. Go for a drink and the spectacle rather than a serious meal, and check it’s still open before a special trip — theme cafés come and go.

Field report
The Unicorn Café off Silom is a pastel detonation: rainbow everything, a wall of plush unicorns in formation, borrowable sparkly onesies, and rainbow spaghetti that tastes like spaghetti wearing a costume, which is the point of everything here.
I, a dignified brown woodland professional, was placed among the plush unicorns by a delighted staff member and photographed by four tables simultaneously. I have made peace with this. The rainbow crepe cake is structurally impressive and chromatically alarming; the candy-floss drinks glow with intent.
It is not subtle, cheap, or gourmet — it's a mood with a menu, and it executes flawlessly. Come with a friend who owns glitter. Wear the onesie. Resistance reads as cowardice here, and the unicorns can tell.
